    2009 PICTURE GALLERY (Videos require Active X)

The first tech session of the new year had a mission to replace

the bands on two cars.  Normally this is not a difficult task, however

when a small screwdriver found it's way into the sump, the hours

began to stretch.  Finally it was located and the work was completed.

Only one of the cars needed new bands, while the second just needed

some tightening.  Don Ellis' band riveting machine made the most

difficult task a lot easier and by day's end both cars were ready to roll again.

Since we are finishing up with the "winter of the decade"

and since few of us dared venture out in the white stuff

think about those in the 1920's, living in the city with no

garage, an open car, and the mess they had to clean up

before they began the effort at starting the T

     While none of us ventured forth in out Model Ts during the

    recent plague of sleet and snow, each of us probably wondered

   how the old girl would do in that kind of weather.  

   Well, here is a fellow who took his T out and gave it a run.

   He has 4-wheel drive, but other than that, stock Model T.
