ANNUAL BOARD AND PLANNING
MEETING
The board met on Jan.15th to establish an outline for activities in
2012 and to
discuss general club operations.
The preliminary 2012 calendar was set up along with a decision not
to
schedule events in August as this is a prime vacation month and also
one which
often has unpleasant touring weather. The month will be
available for
an activity or tech session should members desire to organize
either.
The board received an update on our newsletter and website
operations
and a positive treasury report for 2012. The board authorized
a $100
contribution to the MTFCA Model T museum being built in Indiana.
Smith &
Jones was also commended for their continue support
of the club
newsletter and website.
The club will participate in updating the records by asking members
to fill out an updated form and also create a member car photo album
on the website.
TOURING TOOL
BOXES
The club
has created touring tool chests which contain the tools and parts we
commonly need.
We
have prepared a
list of tools and parts which are or will be included and members are asked
to contribute both ideas or items. If you want to be involved,
let the club officers know by sending an email to the club address.
Mack Cole donated two excellent tool chests and we have been able to fill
them with the usual assortment of
Model T wrenches, etc. etc.
